  1. Listen to music in the style you wish to develop (pay attention to the riffs, stylings, voicings, progressions, etc..)

  2. Get fluent with practical chord progressions

  3. Pick songs you like and practice with a looped recording of them

  4. Find a duet partner and practice, practice, practice!

  5. Be patient - enjoy the journey - be kind to yourself!

  6. Choose one client/session per week to attempt to incorporate an improvisatory moment.
